Right.

Finally I found that I had to modify the source at the file
texk/web2c/tex.ch

Normally there are these two lines:

@!inf_save_size=600
@!sup_save_size=40000

I have modified to:

@!inf_save_size=600
@!sup_save_size=100000

It works, also if the ``tex'' executable that I obtain is very big.

I am asking, anyway, if the original limit can be increased for
standard teTeX package distribution.
