But this causes the same kind of error for cx mode users ;-)
gray.mf, the real content is grayf.mf, is strongly dependent
on drivers so it is impossible to provide general solution.
"since the default mode is ljfour" is not correct for Debian,
it is usually customized by a user with texconfig.
It might be supposed that a user who needs gray.mf can customizes
gray.mf just as you can do ;-)
