When upgrading from hamm to slink, I chose to replace the config file
/etc/texmf/dvips/config.ps
The new config.ps automatically prints to the default printer whenever
dvips is invoked. Since this was a change in behaviour from the hamm
version (at least it seems to be looking at the date of
config.ps.dpkg-old), the upgrade should warn about this.
While looking for this config file, I noted that texconfig doesn't allow
changing this behaviour of dvips, which would be good, but I guess thats
an upstream tetex question.
