Denis,

i read the subject. I just wanted to get shure that this happened
because you installed tetex-doc last. The other packages all run
mktexlsr. So this would not have happened if you installed in a
different order. (Not that I want to say, that you did anything wrong
;-) 

Yes. You are right. mktexlsr should be called in the postinst.
