Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * Automatic update was installed 3/4/2019
   * Update installed and rebooted but then hung. I have to use grub to revert
to rescue mode in order to reach login screen. Login sometimes won't display
password box.
   * the rescue mode boots. But doing a shutdown and hard reboot with the
updated- normally used version does not make it to the sign in screen. It seems
to freeze.
   * I expected the update to just boot & run as it had with the enhanced
security or compatibility updates.

Dear reporter,

Thanks for taking the time long ago to submit your upgrade report. I'm
closing these reports now because the Debian releases they were reported
against have reached their end-of-life (some long ago).

Unfortunately it's possible that the report I'm now closing may still
have relevant information for the current release (bullseye). If you
believe that's the case, don't hesitate to reopen the bug, retitle it
and provide further information and it will be seen during the current
freeze period of Debian.

Paul
