Bug#719003: upgrade-reports: impossible to mount any usb device

Package: upgrade-reports
Severity: grave
Tags: d-i
Justification: renders package unusable

I was working on Debian Squeeze two month ago.
I could mount without any problem many USB devices :
USB stick / USB drives / USB CD-Rom player.
Since I upgraded my Debian to Debian Squeeze, when I plug any USB device to any
of my USB ports, nothing happen. The storage devices are not mounted, the
Audio-CD is not present on my desktop or in any application to read it.
When I type dmesg, I see that the device is plugged or unplugged.
But I looked in debian's forum and I tried to mount the different devices
manually with no success.
Thank you for your help !
