Package: upgrade-reports
Severity: important

After upgrading from squeeze to wheezy:

If I start the system using kernel 2.6.32-5-686 neither the display manager gdm3 nor xdm
is able to start X. Instead a text cursor is shown in the left upper corner of the blank screen.

If I start the system using kernel 2.6.26-2-686 the display manager gdm3 or xdm is able to start X
and the login screen appears. But then, maybe due to some FAILS while booting, the keyboard and mouse does not work.

Thanks in advance for help.

Kind regards

Since you reported that booting the kernel 3.2.0-4-686-pae fixed the issue,
I close this report.

Thanks for using Debian!
