So I went ahead and built a glib2.0 version where I've dropped "Breaks: eog (<< 3.2.2-3)". Unfortunately I've ran into the same problem again. apt-get dist-upgrade aborts at exactly the same point. Do you have any other idea I could test? FWIW, I've tested with the apt version from squeeze.
