Bug#619521: upgrade-reports: "dist-upgrade" -using DVDs cannot be completed

Do you mean /dev/cdrom ? /cdrom is supposed to point to /media/cdrom, not to /dev/hdc.
Did you try to fix the symlink and restart the upgrade ?

(apparently your email carries an incorrect from: address).
