That looks like both a local configuration problem (hostname --short
seems to return an error), and a bug in netatalk's init script (it
shouldn't care about hostname in the 'stop' case).

Did you have an issue with the upgrade itself?  If not, I think this
report should be reassigned to the netatalk package.
