Driver for the Miditech Control-61 Midikeyboard

Is there a driver / kernel module for Squeeze for the Midikeyboard 
Miditech Control-61?

Or can one build one with module-assistant or another method?

One more question: Should not even before a driver is - automatically or 
manually - installed the device be visible when giving the lsusb 
command? It does not appear. It is possible that the instrument is 
defective? Purchased used, but still half a year warranty from the 
original dealer.
