Dist-upgrade to lenny broke cvs and apt, cannot recover.
LibC wont upgrade, thus cvs won't update (and has been removed)... basically everything is broken and apt-get -f install won't fix it.

[code]
amd2:/home/z# apt-get install cvs
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
atlas3-headers: Depends: refblas3-dev but it is not installable
cvs: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.7-1) but 2.3.6.ds1-13etch9+b1 is to be installed
Depends: libpam0g (>= 0.99.7.1) but 0.79-5 is to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

As you can see, the common error is about atlas3-headers.
It complains it is not correctly installed, and cannot be now because
refblas3-dev is not installable.
Indeed: atlas3-headers and refblas3-dev don't exist any longer in Lenny.

Maybe atlas3-headers was not correctly installed *before* the upgrade ?
You may have fixed it by either install refblas3-dev from etch or by
removing atlas3-headers.

When you perform such system upgrade, make sure you follow the release
notes guidelines at
http://debian.org/releases/lenny/i386/release-notes/ch-upgrading
(especially
http://debian.org/releases/lenny/i386/release-notes/ch-upgrading#system-status )

Since there is nothing more we can do about your issue, this bug will be
closed.
