nvidia tnt2 in lenny
Hi folks
I have an old nVidia TNT2 that easily works in Debian Etch by installing
nvidia-glx-legacy
nvidia-kernel-2.6.18-6-686
In newer kernels, support for old nvidia cards are in 71xx packages, but
i can't find that packages in Lenny.
In SID, there are 71xx packages but for 2.6.18-4 kernels
What a mix !
Do that means that nVidia binary drivers are no longer supported in
newer kernels ?
When lenny become stable, there will be a binary driver for my TNT2 or
i must think about compile the kernel ?
