Thanks for your report.

This is the result of an soname change in libapt-pkg.  Rebuilds of all
reverse-dependencies have been scheduled for this change except for
gnome-apt, which is currently tied into a large package transition into
testing.  Some of these packages have failed to build due to other bugs,
such as dak's build failure due to bug #429973, and apt-watch's build
failure due to some glade problem.

As such, there is no bug here in the upgrade process as a whole, just bugs
in individual packages that need to be dealt with separately; so I'm closing
this bug report.
