Yes, although I was connected from the private lan side, which in theory
doesn't get firewalled (usually). If something like '/etc/init.d/iptables
stop' ran I guess I probably would have been locked out.

Nothing out of the ordinary except for a couple of messages like the
following, right around the time it happened (though I don't know
precisely what time the network stopped responding, so it's possible this
is unrelated):
