Woody g++ is not able to build aptitude on hppa, mips and mipsel. Since
woody packages need to build with woody g++, there is no possibility to
fix that bug in woody, unfortunately.

We are aware of this bug and are considering what alternatives to
propose. So far, the best alternative we have is to ask mips/el users to do:
apt-get update
apt-get install aptitude
aptitude -f dist-upgrade

Would that work for you ?
