That *is* what we do with this procedure.
- First we make sure Woody's aptitude is installed
- Then we use Woody's aptitude (instead of apt-get) to upgrade all
  packaging tools to Sarge (for reasons see thread on d-devel)
- Then we use Sarge's aptitude to do the actual dist-upgrade
