I'm running the stock debian 2.6.8-2-686-smp kernel, and this is a Dell Optiplex 280. The chipset is an Intel 915G (I believe) with SATA. (relevant) lspci output below. I believe that DMA is not necessary with sata drives, because they're using the scsi subsystem correct?
