problem with logcheck[Failed to get lockfile: /var/lock/logcheck.lock]

Hi  all
I am unable to get logcheck going, I tried  Google but could not get 
anthing of help.  Given below is the mail I  get from logcheck  whenever 
it runs.
Any help , TIA.
