What version of guile are you at ? I have the same version of gnucash
and version 1.6.3-4 of guile and have not noticed problems although I
only use gnucash once a week when I run through my finances.

I'll try upgrading my guile to the latest (1.6.4-4) and see if it
crashes for me. Is there anything in particular that makes it crash ?

There are a couple of debian bugs about gnucash crashing which may be
relevant as well.

Sincerely,

Adrian Phillips
