Re: booting problems after installing lm-sensors kernel modules from sid / can't mount root fs

I've seen the same segfault problem with lm-sensors-2.4.21-4-k7 (also
the 686 version). Self-compiling the modules from lm-sensors-source
gives errors (both with 2.4.21-4 and 2.4.22-1). 2.4.21-3 works,
however.

The mount problem sounds like the initrd file isn't getting loaded. I
haven't used LILO in over a year (GRUB rocks!), so can't help there.
