How to downgrade to stable?

Hi!  The thread on the subject was not conclusive.

Have

Package: *
Pin: release a=stable
Pin-Priority: 1002

Package: *
Pin: release a=testing
Pin-Priority: 900

Package: *
Pin: release a=unstable
Pin-Priority: 400


in /etc/apt/preferences.

Should

apt-get -t stable upgrade


do the job?
