Bug#186283: netinst cd problems (march24th sarge image)

> I'll resume this when the download finnishes.
[For those that give a damn, Bochs has a problem with the network card
timing out reasonably frequently. It doesn't seem to affect much]

I selected US english. Canadian would be nice, and I could help add that
if wanted.

My keyboard was correctly detected.

Hmm, when I get to "Configure and Mount Partitions" it says:
Journalled Block Device driver loaded
LVM version 1.0.5+(22/07/2002) module loaded
md: md driver 0.90.0 MAX_MD_DEVS=256, MD_SB_DISKS=27
md: raid0 personality registered as nr 2
Segmentation fault
partconf's postinst exited with status 35584
installer[44]: Configuring 'partconf' failed with error code 256
installer[44]: Menu item 'partconf' failed.
[...]
And I'm back to the main menu. I had setup a 100MB image and had the
installer create one 10MB swap partition and then one 90MB linux
partition, both set with the proper types and with the linux partition
marked as bootable.

[boches has some trouble with bios calls the relevant section in the log
says:

this makes me wonder if bochs *incomplete* (broken?) bios is to blame]

trying it again (as per the default) results in:
Segmentation fault
partconf's postinst exited with status 35584
installer[44]: Configuring 'partconf' failed with error code 256
installer[44]: Menu item 'partconf' failed.
[...]

It's interesting to note that last time I got past this... maybe it was a
different program? Maybe I was lucky?

I'll try the install again another day. I'm not going to bother hacking
around this glitch. I tried looking up the error code in partconf, but it
seems that it's generated by some algorithm that would take some time for
me to decipher.
