apt-get/dselect update error
I've been running into errors when trying to use apt-get or dselect to update my
packages lists.
For a while there I was getting errors saying that the file was corrupt. I
checked the file and saw a strange "y" by itself on the line that was reported
in the error. Don't know why that was happening, and now I get the following
when I try anything:

Anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening or what I can do about
it?
