RE: vi and up/down arrow



I get the same error also, same situation.  I can say that when I go to
console (Exit X) it works fine.  When I am in X it does not work and when I
ssh home it does not work.

Is there a solution?  I am using 'ed' for now.

I get the same problem with vi, but vim works fine so
I'm using that for the time being.
