Bug#164007: powerbook g3 wallstreet - first instalation reboot hangs
Package: installation-reports
Version: Debian 3.0
os: debian woody 3.0
under: powerpc powerbook g3 wallstreet
description:
Im booting using BootX, and the vmlinux with ram.disk.image which comes
with the iso. After the base system instalation, one reboot is required.
I practly get crazy when i saw my computer stop after the common
"doooooong" of macintosh machines startup. The screen looks like not
"backlighted".
solution??:
I've get it back doing a "Pre Ram Reset" (reset the machine holding
Ctrl+Apple+P+R). I finally continued the intallation with no problems.
so...:
maybe you already know that (i promise i've look for it at debian.org!),
but maybe not. i hope that to be usefull! and maybe included at some
'readme'
