Upgrading from potato, with scripts of process

I recall AJ mentioning it would be nice if someone could provide some
typescripts while upgrading from potato. Tonight I had the chance to
do just that.

I've attached the scripts from potato -> testing and potato -> unstable

I think you'll find, at least as of tonight, unstable is much more
reliable for an upgrader than testing.

After installing base of potato, I used dselect to get 99% of the
required/important that isn't in base. Then I installed the needed
packages to compile a kernel. Then proceeded to see what would happen.
The scripts tell it all.

PS
I'm no expert, but somewhat familiar with Debian, as such I was able
to 'fix' the broken upgrade to testing, by manually reverting back to
stable. I feel for anyone trying to do this without some experience...
My wife would kill me if I did this to her computer and then told her
  to fix it -).
