You need to get the new libapache-mod-perl out of unstable. This problem
has been fixed in it for around a month. You can read the bug logs to
see the author's comments.

If you have the unstable deb-src listings in your sources.list you can:

    apt-get build-dep libapache-mod-perl
    apt-get source -b libapache-mod-perl

and install the newwer version. All the proper modules should then be
put in /usr/share/perl/5.6.1/ instead of /usr/share/perl/5.6.0/
