Hmmm, that'll teach me to respond when I'm in a hurry, maybe. :/

Installing from a CD, but getting an error about a floppy, confusing,
but possible that dbootstrap only has one error message to spit out and
doesn't care what the installation media is.

Have you tried building a drivers floppy(ies) and using that/them 
instead of the CD?
