Re: Mirror problems
Hello,
Sorry to bother you but with a fast moving system like woody
I think a "transparent" mirror is better.
On one a host with 2 GB unused disk space I have apache,
-----
in /etc/apache/httpd.conf
95:LoadModule proxy_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libproxy.so
257:CacheRoot /var/spool/ApacheProxyPassCache
258:CacheForceCompletion 1
259:CacheSize 2048
260:CacheMaxExpire 1
261:ProxyReceiveBufferSize 4096
263:ProxyPass /debian http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian
265:ProxyPass /debian-non-US http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US
267:ProxyPass /debian-security http://security.debian.org
---------
And on all my local hosts
--------
in /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://my.big.disk.host.name/debian woody main contrib non-free
deb http://my.big.disk.host.name/debian-non-US woody/non-US main contrib
non-free
---------------
Best regards

Other options:
freenet
apt-proxy (did try it but had problems)
