It *is* postgresql. Running the /etc/cron.d/postgresql script
produces this output. Adding PGDEBUG=0 turns it off. Setting
POSTGRES_LOG=/var/log/postgres.log does not turn it off, but causes
debug output to go to the log file as well as the console.
It looks like debug output is enabled by default and something funny is
going on with logging.
