Equipment: Homebuilt Intel 233 with 1.5 Gb IDE disk.
3c509 NIC
DSL network connection
Loaded base system from TC3 floppies with no problem.
Configured network and enabled simple software selection.
Loaded remainder of software from DSL connection with no problem.
Configured and loaded ipchains firewall.
Downloaded portsentry software from www.psionic.com, built and started
application and am successfully running portsentry -tcp.
First installation without firewall back in Jan was penetrated within
two weeks.
Cannot overemphasize importance of firewall when running site on DSL.
