That is almost 100% sure.

In theory (and also in practice) each package in the debian distribution 
should  be easy to upgrade. The only really bad thing could be that a critical 
package is in a that bad state that it is not upgradable. But I consider this 
as very very unlikely (due to the long test cycle).

If you have a kind of standard installation (i.e. something like a home 
desktop) it should work very well. The documentation might be not that good at 
the moment. But that is a good place to help....
