hamm->potato tested?

I am wondering, if anybody has done an upgrade from hamm to potato. I
still habve an old hamm machine (486-40/32MB) to test the path. I
expect, that a newer apt-get must be compiled against the hamm libs to
do this.

Does anybody remember the hamm->slink process and can extrapolate to
hamm->potato?
