Attempted slink install
I retrieved the full set of 2.1.4 disks from ftp1.us.debian.org. The
initial install went fine. Once dselect started, I chose Dialup (~467mb),
then method=apt. The packages file update went fine.
Then when trying to install, I got the following:
libc6-dev depends on libc6 (=2.0.7t-1) (installed version is 2.0.7v-1)
xproc depends on procps (<<1.2.8-0) (installed version is 1.2.9-3)
Sorry, but the following packages are broken - this means they have unmet
dependencies:
xproc: Depends:procps
libc6-dev: Depends:libc6
So I removed xproc, and downgraded to libc6_2.0.7t-1 from
llug.sep.bnl.gov, then got this:
bash pre-depends on libncurses4
libncurses4 depends on libc6 (>=2.0.7u-6)
The install process wouldn't continue from here.
