Hi Enrique,

No, I was at the "top" level of dinstall, where it goes from one
task to the next, and prompts the user for the next task to be
performed, perhaps with a few alternate tasks to choose from that
do the same job.

So, I finished swap partition selection by choosing to initialize
a previously existing swap partition. Then I selected the "Use
Previously Initialized Linux Partition" task; rather than accept
my request to perform this task by going into a sub-menu, I ended
up right back at the "Color/Mono" screen as described in my
original report. (I hope I make myself clearer this time, I'm
more of a verbal rather than a writing type person!)

I have a lot of partitions, especially on /dev/sdb, which also has
an extended partition with a lot of free space in it.

Perhaps my problem is related to the "Re: Bug#30587: Boot-floppies
2.1.2 broken" just mentioned on debian-boot?

Thanks for your prompt response,
