With my co-founder-of-debian.ch-and-also-on-the-board hat on: I'm happy for anybody who organizes something Debian-ish in Switzerland or anywhere, and debian.ch can not / should not monopolize the Debian related activities. Still, it would be very nice if such stuff happened via community@lists.debian.ch and/or the #debian.ch IRC channel. Having multiple independent groups of people who do Debian stuff in .ch/.li is just plain silly, since it's not a huge crowd of people. (And I guess until we hear from mbanji@hotmail.com about where and what, exactly, the plan is: please don't stop preparation of other release parties. The announcement on the wiki is sufficiently vague that it's in the category "I'll believe it when I see it." Also, not everybody has the privilege of living in Basel :-) cheers -- vbi -- You are what you see.
