So, I finally managed to get a working kernel by just copying the kernel
configuration from the current buildds [1], then modifying it for Linux
3.19 [2].
It seems at least CONFIG_MEMORY_START was set to 0x48000000 instead of
0x40000000 but that alone didn't help when I just fixed this, so there
might have been more missing. But anyway, the config in [2] gets me a
bootable kernel.
Unfortunately, systemd needs to be patched yet to support sh4:
[ 2.724000] systemd[1]: systemd 215 running in system mode. (+PAM
+AUDIT +SELINUX +IMA +SYSVINIT +LIBCRYPTSETUP +GCRYPT +ACL +XZ -SECCOMP
-APPARMOR)
[ 2.740000] systemd[1]: Code should not be reached 'Couldn't identify
architecture. You need to patch systemd.' at
../src/shared/architecture.c:137, function uname_architecture(). Aborting.
[ 2.760000] systemd[1]: Caught <ABRT>, core dump failed.
[ 2.764000] systemd[1]: Freezing execution.
But I will just use sysvinit in the mean time.
