-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Package : clamav
Version : 0.99+dfsg-0+deb7u2 [wheezy]
                       0.99+dfsg-0+deb8u2 [jessie]
Importance : high

Upstream published version 0.99.

This is a mostly a bug-fix release. The changes are not strictly required
for operation, but users of the previous version in Wheezy and Jessie may
not be able to make use of all current virus signatures and might get
warnings.

Changes since 0.98 currently in Wheezy and Jessie include the addition of
YARA rules, Perl Compatible Regular Expressions, revamped on-access
scanning and support for decrypting some zip files.

This release changes the name of the shared library from libclamav6 to
libclamav7. As a result, some other packages have also been updated to use
the new library name - dansguardian, havp, c-icap-modules, python-clamav
and libclamunrar. For Wheezy the c-icap package was additionally updated
in order to make it possible to update c-icap-modules.

If you use clamav, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to this version.
