This saves a bit of space if all the packages are installed together,
which is the common case. However, it's true that it's not very much
space (200K or so), so maybe it's not worth the resulting confusion ...
Ah, I'd missed that symlink, likely because I'd path-excluded the various /usr/share/doc and such
directories already, my apologies for the oversight.
With other SSH services relying on this package for SFTP support it adds about a few megabytes
on amd64 from pulling in the tertiary dependencies for openssh-client by comparison.
You'll have to report that as a separate bug - I don't maintain the
dropbear packages.
