Bug#787776: regression: ssh-add loses comments on keys
Package: ssh
Version: 1:6.7p1-5
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
Dear Maintainer,
When trying to use ssh-agent-filter or ssh-add -c it's very handy to have
meaningfull comments on sshkeys so you can see which key is being used for
what.
Unfortunatly openssh 6.7 introduced a bug where all key comments end up as
"w/o comment", this is fixed in openssh 6.8:
https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2306
with this commit:
https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable/commit/1195f4cb07ef4b0405c839293c38600b3e9bdb46
(I tagged this with upstream, but i don't know if thats the correct way to
use that tag, sorry if it's wrong!).
