I have what appear to be working branches now, and my Alioth project
request for pkg-ssh was approved (exceptionally quickly!) by the
administrators. Just in case, I'm going to test out the branches a bit
before pushing them anywhere, probably by merging 5.3p1 and documenting
the process of doing so.
