Assuming that's libssl0.9.8 (something appears to have mangled all the
package names), then the above is your problem. As per DSA1571-1:

        For the stable distribution (etch), these problems have been
        fixed in version 0.9.8c-4etch3.
        
        For the unstable distribution (sid) and the testing distribution
        (lenny), these problems have been fixed in version 0.9.8g-9.
        
(you appear to be running a version of openssl on etch that's a few
month's older than that shipped with etch but nearly a year out of date
with respect to testing/unstable; presumably you manually installed it
at some point, but as it has a higher version number than the security
update the latter won't get automagically installed).
