The submitter also filed #506846 (CCed) against openssl, which indicates
the relevant version is 0.9.8g-14.

However, having upgraded one of my amd64 unstable machines to the quoted
versions of openssl and openssh, I'm unable to reproduce the issues
mentioned in either report; sshing from and to the machine works as does
"openssl dgst".
