drops connections with "Corrupted MAC on input." errors when loads of data get transferred

output (ssh -vvv):
Disconnecting: Corrupted MAC on input.

This happens when connecting to 'OpenSSH_4.7p1 Debian-2, OpenSSL 0.9.8g
19 Oct 2007' on 32bit as well as 64bit.
