Bug#327815: ssh: Incomplete documentation for -D switch
Package: ssh
Version: 1:4.1p1-6
Severity: normal
The ssh manual page says:
[-D port]
I think it should be this:
[-D [bind_address:]port]
As specifying "-D localhost:1080" does stop ssh from binding port 1080
on all interfaces.
A warning that not doing this will result in an open proxy might be useful
too.
