Bug#336121: openssh: accept and send WINDOWID and TZ environment variables by default (PRINTER too ?)
Package: openssh
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
In addition to LANG and LC_ALL, it might be useful to propagate several
environment variables (in decreasing usefulness order):
- WINDOWID: see http://bugs.debian.org/142058 , I don't see any other
way to remotely discover the window ID of the xterm.
- TZ: so as to keep a consistent timing information accross ssh-s :)
- PRINTER: in several situations, it is useful to easily remotely print
on the local printer.
Regards,
Samuel Thibault
