Following up the "upgrade breaks LDAP" report, I would like to mention the
same upgrade breaks Kerberos/AFS login on my system. The symptoms are as
follows: all users are allowed to log in with their passwords, but they
don't receive a TGT and an AFS token. As a result, having their home
directories in AFS, they get a series of "permission denied" errors. Local
logins, using exactly the same PAM rules, keep on working the right way.
Dowgrading back to version 3.6 has cured the problem instantenously.
