Bug#215252: ssh-copy-id doesn't realize when it fails, e.g. due to Name or service not known

Package: ssh
Version: 1:3.6.1p2-9
Severity: minor

I'm used to putting a colon at the end of a host due to scp; however,
ssh-copy-id obviously doesn't like this (which I suppose is a bug in
itself; it should simply strip it off). It did not notice, however,
that it failed and told me to try logging into the machine now.
That's kinda stupid since it obviously failed. ssh-copy-id should
detect this and not print that message.

723:tbm@deprecation: ~] ssh-copy-id chiark.greenend.org.uk:
ssh: chiark.greenend.org.uk:: Name or service not known
Now try logging into the machine, with "ssh 'chiark.greenend.org.uk:'", and check in:

  .ssh/authorized_keys

to make sure we haven't added extra keys that you weren't expecting.
