scp -pBC .spamassassin/user_prefs.debian.linux.org.tw debian.linux.org.tw:.spamassassin/user_prefs
did indeed copy the file, but did not exit 0, whereas removing the B
gave the right exit value.

So it has, thanks. I've tested with the current Debian package
(1:3.6.1p2-5) and all seems well, so I'm closing this bug.
